Best 3 Days of My Life

September 24, 2006

The past 3 days have been the best 3 days of my life. Thursday night I went and saw The Who up in north jersey with my father. That might have been the best concert I’ve ever been to. Then I slept for 12 or so hours. After waking up, I drove up to north jersey again to hang out with Rory at Rutgers. I stayed the night up at Rutgers, had an awesome time, then drove home yesterday morning. Then, last night, I went to the Motley Crue/Aerosmith concert with Tim, Jeff, and Phil. That was an amazing concert. I am so tired from the last 3 days, but it’s something I needed. I love coming home.

ROBOTS!!!!

September 18, 2006

I was talking to Brian earlier, and he linked me to a phpBB he hosted a while back. He hosted it so we could test security on a PHP Bulletin Board. He linked me to a part of the panel that shows users. We were alarmed to see there were 47 or so members. When we set up the board, there were only two of us as members. What were those 45 or so members? ROBOTS!!! Yes, some computer that is a digital robot found its way to Brian’s forum that he hosted. The link of which no one has ever known besides him or I. This means there are bots that scour the internet for forums, then register for those forums, or either one of us had a virus. And neither of us have had a virus. So these webcrawlers register to your forum. One could only imagine what they do from there. My assumption is these bots are ran by companys so they could gather information about the general public. These robots will be able to find out a persons hobbies. Have a person on a bulletin board post their address for some reason. Then have him post his name at some given time. My bet is that he’d get some junkmail about whatever the forum was about, whether it be an automotive or guitar forum, for example. This is only my guess. What do you think the robots are up to?

Comfort Zone

Here I sit, in my own bed for the first time in months. I feel incredibly comfortable right now. Since I have come home, all has been well. Coming up soon on thursday, I will be going to The Who in concert. On saturday i’ll be going to the Aerosmith/Motley Crue if tickets aren’t sold out. I love being home. The Wawa Lemonade Ice Tea is incredible. I have two half gallons in the fridge right now.

The Long Haul

September 12, 2006

It is now 9 o clock on tuesday morning.  The next 4 days are finals.  I hate having finals but know at the end of the week I will be on a plane flying home.  I am very excited to be able to sleep in my own bed once again.  Ive been very restless lately.  I havent managed to go to bed at my normal hour.  I dont know what it is.

I have been quite bored of school lately.  Maybe it’s because it has been repetitive.  Same thing day in and day out.  Luckily, I only have 9 months left.  Ahh im taking 28 credits next quarter.  I think that will put me at 52.5 credits for this semester.  I might die.  I have class 8 to 5 every day and 8 to 7 on thursdays.  God help me.

No Bear Hugging

September 2, 2006

So I drove down to PJ’s last night.  He had this plan to go to a dance.  I was semi-concerned.  The last time I went to a dance besides prom was maybe 8th grade.  And his college UVSC was hosting it no less.  I drive down to PJ’s, we eat some Panda Express, then leave for the dance.  As we arrive at UVSC, we see a lot of cars so we figure this will be good.  As we walk to the front door, I see a large poster that says LDS Dance.

One thing PJ did not know was that the dance was a LDS dance.  Walking in the door, I have a 20 in hand ready to pay for admission as you would with dances.  Instead some girl has me sign a small slip of paper that I get to keep.  On the card it said  no moshing, no tank tops, no break dancing, no bare midriffs, no short shorts, no bear hugging.  What is bear hugging?  When we were inside we saw a sign that said no intimate dancing.  Yeah, we stayed for about 2 minutes and 37 seconds before leaving.

We left and went back to PJ’s to watch Snatch.  Then we both drove to my house and watched Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels before I fell asleep.  What the hell is bear hugging?
